In Cabezón de la Sal (Cantabria), this kitchen open to the living room is organised in a parallel layout that enhances the clarity and functionality of the space. The units have INKO SMART fronts in a matt black finish, bringing sobriety and a continuous reading from the living area. On the main wall, the tall unit with oven and microwave sits alongside those for the integrated fridge and freezer, keeping a clean look in a space shared with the living room. Between these volumes runs the main work surface, bringing together the cooking area, with an extractor integrated into the horizontal wall units, and the sink area, both on a Dekton Nacre worktop and splashback.

The linearity of the design is reinforced by the continuity of the wall units, which add proportion and storage capacity without disturbing the calm of the whole. The matt texture of the units contrasts subtly with the light tone of the worktop, creating a balance that helps it blend with the living room. The parallel layout ensures comfortable circulation and a clear architectural reading, suited to everyday use and the open character of the space.

The project is completed with a central island that articulates the transition to the living area. On its outer side it includes a decorative glass cabinet with a wooden interior and a wine cooler, adding warmth and a point of visual interest. On top rests a 60 mm natural chestnut bar with a matt finish, supported by a U-shaped metal frame and accompanied by black stools. The Dekton Domoos island top completes a balanced, precise whole, in keeping with the contemporary design of the project.
